KS2 Teacher Required!

The Year 5 Class Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to pupils in Key Stage 2 within a supportive and ambitious independent school environment. The successful candidate will inspire and motivate pupils, promote excellent academic progress, and contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

The postholder will create a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating classroom environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, independence, curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning. They will work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure every child achieves their full potential.

Essential Qualifications and Experience 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience of teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally including Upper Key Stage 2.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Experience of planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Ability to assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

We’re on the lookout for a dynamic, creative, and enthusiastic Lunchtime and After School Provision Leader to supervise pupils during the lunchtime period, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and positive behaviour and then run an exciting, feel-good after school provision where children can unwind, explore their interests, and end every school day smiling. 💛
This role is perfect for someone who loves thinking outside the box, enjoys leading activities, and wants real ownership over a programme they can make their own. From arts and games to themed afternoons and creative challenges — you’ll be the spark that turns ordinary afternoons into unforgettable ones.🌟💛

🌈 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supervising pupils in dining halls, playgrounds, and classrooms during lunchtime.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and ensure school rules are followed.
  • Assisting younger children with eating and table manners where needed.
  • Designing and leading a fun, engaging after school programme
  • Creating imaginative activities that reflect children’s interests and personalities
  • Providing a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
