Tower Tots offers a warm, welcoming and stimulating environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years, providing high-quality early years care and education on the same beautiful campus as Tower College. With a focus on play-based learning and individualised development, we ensure every child thrives from their very first steps.
Tower Tots is open 50 weeks a year, Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm, with closures only on bank holidays. Our extended hours and convenient location make us an ideal choice for working families and those with children already attending Tower College or other nearby schools.
The nursery accommodates up to 115 full-time places, and we welcome children of all abilities and backgrounds.
Our nursery is made up of three dedicated buildings, thoughtfully designed to support each stage of your child’s development. Children are grouped by age to ensure they are cared for in age-appropriate environments with the right balance of stimulation and comfort.

Each room is led by experienced and caring staff who tailor activities to meet the developmental needs of each child, supporting both their early learning and emotional wellbeing.
At Tower Tots, we believe that children learn best when they are happy, engaged and curious. Our approach is centred around child-initiated play, supported by planned, structured activities that encourage development in communication, movement, independence, creativity and problem-solving.
We work closely with parents to ensure that learning activities reflect each child’s interests and strengths. Parental input is always welcome and valued — after all, you know your child best.
We’re proud to have achieved St. Helens Healthy Early Years Status, recognising our commitment to promoting physical health, wellbeing and positive early development. Tower Tots has also been awarded a 5-star Environmental Health rating (2025) for food hygiene and safety.
Your child’s safety and happiness are our highest priorities. Our staff are fully qualified, caring and attentive, with safeguarding procedures in place across all areas of the nursery.
Being located on the Tower College site means we can offer a smooth and supported transition into the school for families who choose to continue their child’s education with us.
