Scholarships, Discounts & Bursaries

In keeping with our charitable status, Tower College is committed to educational excellence and to widening access for children. Only one discount or scholarship can be applied per pupil, and a limited number are allocated each year.

Discounts

All discounts are reviewed annually.

Sibling Discount

  • 10% reduction in fees for each second and subsequent sibling.
  • Eligibility: Must be full-time pupils.
  • How to Apply: Automatically awarded upon enrolment.

Full-Time Christian Workers

  • 15% discount
  • Eligibility: Pastors, priests, clergy or similar roles.
  • How to Apply: Provide one or more of the following:
    • Letter on church/ministry letterhead confirming your role
    • Pay stub (sensitive details may be blacked out)

Children of Former Pupils

  • 5% discount.
  • Eligibility: Past pupil in attendance at Tower College for 5 year or more.
  • How to Apply: Provide proof of alumni status (for example: past pupil records,
    old school reports)

Bursaries for Current Tower College Families

Tower College has a limited bursary fund to help parents whose financial circumstances change unexpectedly after their child is already enrolled.

Key Details

  • Purpose: Short-term support for existing families in sudden financial difficulty.
  • Assessment: Based on the family’s current income and capital position.
  • Approval: All awards are subject to the Board of Governors’ approval.
  • Review: Bursary arrangements are reviewed each term.

How to Apply

Parents should contact the school office to request a Bursary Application Form and to discuss what supporting documentation will be required.

Scholarships

Open Academic Scholarships

  • 15% of fees for pupils entering Year 7.
  • Based on Entrance Exam performance (English & Maths) and an interview.
  • Awards are purely merit-based, irrespective of income.
  • How to Apply: No separate application; offers made automatically to top-performing candidates in the Entrance Exam.
  • Closing Date: Thursday 29th January 2026

Sports Scholarships

  • 15% of fees for pupils who can make a significant contribution to the school’s sporting success while remaining academically ambitious.
  • Major sports: Rugby, Football, Cricket, Tennis, Swimming, Athletics, Gymnastics
    (boys & girls).
  • Typically competing at County, Regional or National level.
  • Must demonstrate leadership, fair play, loyalty, and teamwork.
  • Requirement: Must study GCSE P.E. from Year 10.
  • How to Apply: Provide references from current coaches or P.E. teachers with
    the registration form; video evidence may be requested.
  • Closing Date: Thursday 29th January 2026
