A Connected Approach to Early Years Learning
To keep you fully informed and involved in your child’s development, we use Babys Days, a secure and interactive online learning journey platform. This intuitive system allows our practitioners to capture and share key moments from your child’s time in nursery, using photos, short videos, and written observations—all linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Each child’s learning journey is unique and securely password-protected. You can access it from a range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, and desktop computers, whether you’re using iOS, Android, or a PC.
Real-Time Updates and Two-Way Communication
Parents and carers receive notifications whenever a new entry is added to their child’s profile. This provides an ongoing insight into your child’s day, achievements, and areas of development. You are also encouraged to add your own comments and reflections, helping to create a consistent and supportive link between home and nursery.
Many families find this particularly reassuring when their child is settling in or transitioning between rooms. The system not only keeps you informed but also helps to celebrate milestones, both big and small.
Engaging Families Beyond the Classroom
We value in-person involvement just as much as digital engagement. Throughout the year, we host a variety of events to bring families into the nursery experience. These include stay-and-play sessions, open evenings, festive outings, and a special graduation ceremony for our older children.
