Slide 1 I enjoy taking photographs and especially of faces. None of these photographs are mine – they are far better than any of mine. But faces tell a story and define the person behind these fascinating masks. Each one of the faces you are going to see has something fascinatingly beautiful about it. Each one is completely different to the next and that is why I like faces so much.
Slide 2 Faces are often the first thing others look at. Your face defines you and makes you look like yourself. It is in your face that emotion is seen and understood.
Slide 3 But is important to accept people for who they are and not how they look. You need always to search for the beauty within.
Slide 4 A beautiful mind is often far more important than a beautiful face but a beautiful mind is not as visible.
Slide 5 Beauty is certainly in the eye of the beholder.
Slide 6 But I believe that every face is interesting
Slide 7 Each one built by years of experience and of living life
Slide 8 Faces can show you are serious
Slide 9 Can give the impression of glamour and happiness despite turmoil within
Slide 10 Faces can show dignity
Slide 11 And cultural beauty
Slide 12 A smile can touch a heart in adults
Slide 13 And children
Slide 14 A face is defined by eyes, nose, mouth, eyebrow, lips, cheeks and forehead
Slide 15 And yet there are so many variations of different faces
Slide 16 So why are we so judgemental about the way people look? And why do some people take so much time trying to look like others? When, in actual fact, they are amazing just the way they are.
Slide 17 Have we become obsessed by what is deemed to be beautiful?
Slide 18 It is time to look at others and see their true beauty. Faces are amazing. People are amazing. Just open your eyes a bit wider and you will see how right I am.
Slide 19 Please stand for prayer.
