Tower College gets a reskin!

New School Web site!

Totally objectively speaking we think this is one of the best looking web sites that any Independent School has. Not only that, but behind the scenes, a lot of attention has been paid to web standards. See our Accessibility Statement for more information. The new site is powered by Joomla 1.5, and aims to be AA compliant. Credit to sdesign1 and Matthew Rozenbroek-Nelson, Nicola Reitiker and Nicolas Hilton for all their help.

We would love to hear your opinions on the new school site so please contact us to let us know your thoughts. Criticism and praise will be accepted (but only if given in equal measure..).

Site Problems

Tower College Website to be relaunched after half-term. This will be a completely new site and will include a pupil and parental portal. The portal has been built using Microsoft's Sharepoint and is very very impressive. We can't wait!

Tower College Diamond Anniversary Dinner, 5th April 2008

Past and current staff enjoyed an evening with the past pupils from over the years at our recent 60th Anniversary Dinner, held at the Village Hotel, Whiston on Saturday 5th April 2008, to celebrate the opening of Tower College on 6th April 1948 by the late Mr and Mrs Charles Oxley.

Independent Schools Association Essay Competition 2008

Principal Miss Oxley was delighted when, at the recent ISA Headteachers’ Annual Conference in Brighton, Tower College’s name was called out twice.

History trip to Belgium

ISA National Cross Country

Jamie Webb, Rachel Unsworth and Katie Vandewalle have all been selected to represent the North Area in the ISA National Cross Country Championships. We wish the best of luck. Results pending.
